Specific frequency harmonics in the input sound are enhanced and propagated, giving you fine control over the sustain of a tone.

Pitch display

The frequency at which to resonate.

Decay knob

Sets how long it takes for the resonance to ring out after the input goes silent.

Intensity knob

Adjusts how much the resonance amplifies the input signal.

Timbre

Switches between two different harmonic series for the resonance. Choose between all harmonics (saw tooth wave) or odd harmonics (square wave).

Mix knob

The dry/wet mix of this effect. A lower value will let some of the unmodified signal through.

Settings panel

Whenever you have your mouse cursor over a snapin there is a small arrow at the top right corner (not visible in screenshot). It opens a settings panel where you handle presets.
It also has a 'randomize' button that can be useful. I guess..

Enabled checkbox

The small checkbox to the left of the plugin name is a checkbox that bypasses the effect when disabled.

Resize handle

The bottom right corner of all Kilohearts plugins is a resize handle for scaling the UI to any size. This allows you to get a good view of the controls whatever the screen resolution, and also comes in handy if you need big controls, e.g. when using Resonator as a real-time effect on a touchscreen monitor during a live set. (This is not available when the snapin is used inside a snapin host.)

Resonator is a snapin

NadIR is a zero latency, dual Impulse Response (IR) convolver, designed to be used as a cabinet simulator for guitar and bass (pre)amplifiers. It has been designed to perform pristine quality convolution in real time, while being light on the CPU and easy to use, providing advanced built-in filters and delay controls to let guitarists and bassists shape their tone with ease, without the need. The instrument includes 50 free presets and is a complex wavetable synth capable of producing many and varied sounds compared to your bog standard virtual analogue (of which it is one). You might have to work with it to get the best from it but the potential is certainly there including a fantastic Delay Matrix. The Resonator just oozes with bluesy, folksy, twangy warmth! It's many articulations are easily controllable with velocity switching and/ or key switches, and you can even add auto-harmony and chords. For best results, load it up on your laptop, plug in a keyboard, take it out to the front porch with a glass of lemonade. REZ3 free Rez3 is a Resonator FX VST plugin, it offers a multi LFO with 6 different waveforms and an envelope follower to modulate tone, feedback, filter cutoff and filter resonance. Rez3 is a free resonator VST plugin developed by Z3 Audiolabs. Rez3 is a free vst plugin and comes with 32 Presets. Parameters are also equipped with a midi learn function (right click on the parameter) to use it with your midi controller.

Kilohearts plugins work great together, and all the snapins can work double duty as modular components inside our snapin hosts. There are several different hosts that allow you to apply any number of snapins in various contexts, like to each individual band in the band-splitter Multipass, or add your full effects chain right inside the preset of the synth Phase Plant.
