Once the plugins start getting listed, if you get any plugins appearing to hang for say 30 seconds, check Windows Task Manager and see if ilbridge.exe appears to have stopped. If it has click on it and then End Process. The scan will continue and ilbridge.exe will reappear in Windows Task Manager. In Cubase/Nuendo, the preference in VST Plug-ins 'Suspend VST3 plug-in processing when no audio signal is received' is enabled by default. Please disable this preference until we have a solution ready. Still haven't found what you're looking for? Our help center provides solutions for almost any known issue. Go to Options Preferences VST Set your VST Plug-ins path, and click 'Re-scan' or 'Clear cache/re-scan'. Audio Unit plug-ins (Mac Only) are scanned by default on launch. Reboot Reaper and your plug-ins will be re-scanned.
- Live might crash during the scanning process if an incorrect VST directory has been chosen, for example the root directory of the C: drive. VST plug-ins are.dll files. Live can not distinguish VST.dlls from other.dlls, for example drivers. If the custom VST folder contains non-VST.dlls, Live might crash as it tries to interpret them as VSTs.
- VST SCAN NOT FINDING WAVES PLUGINS For some odd reason, I don't have access to my waves plugins within sonar. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the waves command center twice.
- Ok, So I thought I was a pro.but now i'm just sad/mad I can't figure this out, I used to do the autotune vst plugin thing and I pretty much knew how to set that all up.Then I updated to windows 8 and when I did that I reinstalled mixcraft, and go put the folder where the vst is.and usually when I did that before I could just go to fx, and it would pop up there.but now it doesn't pop up at.
- Sonar users: make sure 'Scan at startup' is enabled in Preferences Locations VST Plug-ins Windows users: this may be the result of a VST cache issue. Create a sub-folder in your VST location, move the UVI Workstation plug-in DLL file there, then rescan your VST locations in the preferences of your DAW.
